Willys Gasser
Willys Gasser
The owner of this Willys has had it for many years. And it has had a hard life. He used to drive it on the street in the 70s and it's been rolled twice and a tree fell on it after that.
We started by pulling it completely apart. Cut the firewall and cowl area out so it could be straightened. We also straightened the frame. Much of the body had to be remade or massaged back into shape. The original front axle was retained, but machined to take modern disk brakes. The rearend is held in place by custom made latter bars and is a '56 Pontiac. Coilovers were used in the rear and parrall leafs in front.
Under the fiberglass front end is a blown SBC. New floor were made and a four point roll bar helps with rigidity. It will be finished in pearl tangerine with original American mags.
