Meet Field

Field started Metal Union with the idea of creating a culture of collaboration among a talented group of fabricators. In a short period, he accumulated the best coachbuilding equipment available. He began searching the country for artisans with the right skill set and the attitude necessary to fulfill his goal.

This dream came about because his passion for fabrication began when he was in high school and disassembled and reassembled his cars. It grew beyond tinkering and into a love of the history and evolution of coachbuilding. His daily emphasis is still to be hands-on with each project and work alongside his team.

After years of working in shops around Atlanta and traveling the country to learn from the best metal shapers, Field's vision for Metal Union came to light.
